What makes these masturbators automatic?
Most are powered devices that produce the movement themselves rather than needing you to stroke - through thrusting, rotation or suction, often with vibration as well. A handful are strokers you move yourself; the M for Men Rain, for instance, adds a one-speed vibrating bullet.
Which mechanisms will I find here?
Suction, thrusting and rotation, usually combined with vibration. Pipedream's Fap-O-Matic and Fuck-O-Matic use intermittent suction that draws you in and out; the PDX Elite Mega-Bator combines rotation with thrusting; Blush's SpinMaster Pro and Whirlwind Pro use 360-degree rotation; and the Zolo Stickshift uses an electro-magnetic thrusting motion. Most combine two or three of them.
Are these rechargeable, or do they take batteries?
Most charge over USB, and some quote a run time - Blush lists up to sixty minutes for the Master Blaster and the SpinMaster Pro. Two run on batteries instead: the Pretty Love Ozzy takes three AAA and the M for Men Rain one AAA, neither included.
Which ones can be used hands-free?
Several are built for it. Pipedream's Mega-Bator mounts on a suction-cup bracket and has a clamp for your phone; the Zolo Automatic Blowjob has an adjustable suction-cup base; and the Camtoyz Dynamo comes with an adjustable stand and a mobile suction cup. Pipedream's Motobator 2 and VeDO's Hummer 2.0 are both sold as hands-free machines.

Is this the same as a vibrating masturbator?
Not necessarily. Vibration is common here, but so are thrusting, rotation and suction, and many products combine several of them. On two listings vibration is the only powered feature - the M for Men Rain's bullet and VeDO's Stroke. Vibrating Masturbators is the collection for vibration specifically.
How is this different from the Masturbators collection?
This page gathers what we sell as automatic - mostly devices that do the moving for you, though a few hand-worked strokers sit here too. Masturbators is the full range, including sleeves with no motor at all.
Does anything here warm up?
One has a heater: Blush's Master Blaster lists a deluxe warming feature. That is different from a sleeve that warms to your body temperature, which is what the M for Men Rain, the Fuck-O-Matic's tongue and the Mega-Bator toppers describe - the material taking your warmth rather than a heating element.
Are any of them waterproof?
A few are rated. Blush's Whirlwind Pro is IPX7 and the Zolo Stickshift is described as completely waterproof. Pipedream's Fuck-O-Matic (IPX5) and Fap-O-Matic (IPX4) carry a rating too, but their own care instructions say not to submerge them - so cleaning and splashes, not baths. Most of the rest give no rating at all, and are best treated as unrated.
How easy are they to clean?
Several come apart. Doc Johnson's Main Squeeze strokers fully disassemble, The Male Rose 3 and Male Rose Pro have detachable cups, and the Fap-O-Matic and Fuck-O-Matic sleeves lift out. The hard-case models double as a storage case between uses.
What do they cost?
